Shelf Life: Enduring Freshness

 

Most Living Libations have a hearty shelf life. “Shelf life” refers to the length of time a product is fresh and maintains the greatest benefit. The shelf life of our Libations varies by product, and you can protect their freshness with careful storage. Heat, light, and oxygen exposure can promote aging in oils, so storing your Libations in a cool, dark place with the lid firmly on is wise. Do keep dust caps on too!

It is fine to keep smaller sized products that you use frequently during the day, such as balms, glosses, or perfumes, in your car, pocket, or purse, though both balms and glosses are prone to liquefying above room temperature.

If you would like to keep your Libations in the bath or shower or on a sunny countertop, it is best to pour smaller amounts into separate containers, and keep the larger containers stored in a cool, dark spot for enduring freshness.
