“Truly love this one! My hair looks and smells incredible! I have tried the other conditioners as well and love them too and still can’t decide which one I love more but wow they are so beyond worth it ! favorite conditioners ever.” — Randi

“This one is new to my repertoire but I am obsessed. My hair tends to be on the drier side whilst also being fine, but this creme tames any frizzy fly aways + smooths dry ends so well, without adding heaviness or oiliness. Usually leave-in products make my hair need washing sooner but not this.. plus it smells like heaven. Living Libations continues to be my all-time favourite beauty skincare brand.” — Katie

Deep Mask: After shampooing, apply and cover with a shower cap or warm towel. Leave on for an hour or overnight and rinse.
Styling Agent: Smooth a dab onto strands and tips anytime to soothe dry ends, ease static, and define curls.

CALENDULA COMFORT: ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Distilled Spring Water
Pure water distilled to deliver aqua to our botanical infusion.

Jojoba — Simmondsia chinensis
Singing with a hearty 96% ceramides, glorious golden Jojoba is the seminal supplier of sumptuous ceramides to nourish scalp and hair strands. Conditioning thirsty hair and synergizing with sebum, Jojoba has unparalleled ability to moisturize the hair and balance oil production. It is packed with peptides and lipids and contains the highest levels of phenolic compounds found in nature along with antioxidants and all soluble forms of vitamin E.

Aloe Vera — Aloe barbadensis
Aloe is a botanical gem from the desert that ensures proper balance of moisture and promotes healthy hair. It smoothes the hair cuticle and creates an invisible lush layer on the surface of each hair strand, helping to lock in moisture and nutrients.

Calendula — Calendula officinalis
Compounds of Calendula are captured in this herbal infusion of sunny bright yellow petals packed with positive, potent properties. This infusion harnesses the pleasant properties of marigold petals that have an ancient affinity of comforting and caressing dry skin and scalps.

Black Walnut — Juglans nigra
Wonderful Black Walnut hull is slowly soaked and steeped in golden Jojoba, generating a fine, rich herbal infusion that has been used historically as a nourishing, deep pigment to make hair dimensional and brilliant with shine.

Coltsfoot — Tussilago farfara
Cheery coltsfoot is one of the first flowers to bloom in spring bringing its sunny yellow cheer to welcome the new season. Like nettles and horsetail, coltsfoot also supports healthy-looking, shiny hair. Coltsfoot contains compounds of silica, sulfur, and cysteine which improve sheen.

Horse Chestnut — Aesculus hippocastanum
Hardworking Horse Chestnut is abundant in silica that tames manes and strengthens strands.

Horsetail — Equisetum arvense
Helpful and herbaceous Horsetail rich in silica to strengthen hair strands and a frail ponytail!

Oatstraw — Avena sativa

Nettles — Urtica dioica
Numinous Nettles are an effective and ancient plant tonic to nourish skin and scalp.

Calendula CO2 Extraction — Calendula officinalis
This most potent extract of mirthful marigolds concentrates the juicy constituents of colorful carotenoids, beneficial plant waxes, and thick phytosterols making it far juicier than an infusion or tincture. This superhero for skin and scalp harnesses the flower power of marigold petals to help groom hair to its full bloom.

Rosehips CO2 Extraction — Rosa canina
Rosehips are hydrating and moisturizing to the hair and dry scalps. The omegas and vitamins contained in rosehips nourish dry, brittle hair. Rosehip oil contains natural retinol, omegas 6 and 9 fatty acids, lycopene, beta-carotene, and naturally occurring vitamin C.

Seabuckthorn CO2 Extraction — Hippophae rhamnoides
The Latin name of the berry producing Seabuckthorn bush means “tree that makes the horses shine” referring to the berries' benefits of making horses healthy and have shiny hair. Our Seabuckthorn berry oil is a super-critical extract with an affinity for lustrous locks.

Sorbitan Olivate — Olea europaea
Extracted from the opulent fatty acids of pure olive oil, this natural emulsifier excels at seamlessly joining our rich oils and waters together. It allows the formula to smoothly coat the hair cuticle, delivering deep, long-lasting hydration to both the skin and scalp.

Bladderwrack — Fucus vesiculosus
This succulent seaweed is naturally mucilaginic, being both moisturizing and tonifying for the hair. People from regions that ingest lots of seaweed often have thick, beautiful hair! Dry, thirsty hair will relish the vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids found in our wild-harvested seaweed extract. Juicy, gelatinous seaweed holds moisture inside the strands to reduce flyaways and frizz.

Rosemary — Rosmarinus officinalis
Reviving Rosemary is a stimulating sentinel for scalp and hair. Steam distilled from rosemary plants grown on high plateaus in the Alps, our rosemary contains more camphor and cineole compounds than rosemary growing at sea level. This special type of rosemary is an ancient hair and scalp tonic as it effectively sloughs scalp flakes, freeing the pores to care for each strand of hair.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use this as a leave-in crème if I have fine hair that weighs down easily?
Yes, absolutely. Unlike conventional conditioners that rely on heavy synthetic silicones and plastics to coat the hair, our Calendula Comfort Conditioner is formulated with lightweight lipids of Jojoba, Calendula, Seabuckthorn, and Rosehips. These whole-plant botanical oils absorb into the hair shaft rather than sitting on top of it, giving fine hair weightless bounce, hydration, and frizz control without limpness or greasy residue.

How does this formula help define curls and waves naturally?
Synthetic curl creams use synthetic polymers (essentially liquid plastics) to “glue” hair strands together into stiff curls. The Herbaceous Halo naturally aligns and shapes your curls by nurturing the hair cuticle from the inside out. Succulent seaweeds and moisture-locking Aloe Vera plump each strand, revealing your mane’s elasticity and structure for soft, bouncy definition.

What is the best way to use this product as a deep-conditioning spa mask?
Apply from root to tip after shampooing. Wrap your hair in a warm towel or shower cap and let the botanical bioactives saturate your crown for 15 minutes before rinsing. For a moisture reset, leave in hair overnight and rinse in the morning to reveal silkified, luminous strands.

Is this conditioner safe to use as a protective styling cream on dry hair?
Yes! You can smooth a tiny, dime-sized dab onto dry strands and tips anytime throughout the day to instantly tame static, smooth flyaways, and seal split ends. It provides a silken, protective shield from environmental stressors while leaving locks beautifully scented with a fresh, herbaceous aroma.
