Between the 11th and 17th centuries, delight for the coffee bean spread throughout the globe at lightning speed. Coffee can trace its roots back to Ethiopia where the first coffee trees originated, and to ancient Arabia where monks would sip the bean's black juice throughout their morning prayers. In Africa, battle-weary warriors would add crushed coffee beans to their meat to revitalize themselves before returning to the battlefield. In the 18th century, a shrub from King Louis XIV's personal coffee tree was planted on the tropical island of Martinique, it only took a few decades for twenty-million coffee trees to sprout!
With our special super-extracted Coffee Bean essence, you can bask and bath in the mocha-magic of coffee's enchanting aroma by just sniffing the bottle, in culinary creations, serums and soaks – caffeine free! "Prior to being made into a hot beverage, coffee was used as a food, wine and preparations. In Latin America, the leaves are boiled and used in baths for muscle and joint aches."
