Decadent dawn-blooming Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute exudes a joyful juice. Greet the morning with an inhalation of this poetic petal perfume, just as this Jasmine Grandiflorum opens its blooms to the dawn’s rising sun. While Jasmine Sambac unfolds to milky moonlight, Jasmine Grandiflorum is distilled from the dewy-dawn petals of Indian Poet’s Jasmine. This ancient amorous oil is much more than a delicious-smelling stress reliever; in Ayurveda, Jasmine Grandiflorum has an affinity for the feminine essence and is enjoyed to bolster bliss. A drop of this exotic essence is profoundly inspiring and increases the charisma of the person anointed with this nectar of Jasmine.

To make this grand Jasmine juice, forty pounds of petals are distilled to create an ounce of this olfactory euphoric. While Jasmine Sambac works her magic until the silvery light of the Indian moon, Jasmine Grandiflorum heralds the dawn of a new day to come. This morning flower is equally equipped with arousing charm and is also enjoyed to heighten feelings of well-being, including balancing mood and igniting creativity.

Jasmine Sambac serves as the yang to Jasmine Grandiflorum’s yin. Where grandiflorum is soft, sweet, and decidedly feminine, sambacis more robust and redolent in its fragrance and energy.

“The essential oil of jasmine influences the emotional part of us. The fragrance penetrates and diminishes fear. No other essential oils is quite as capable of changing our mood so intensely. Jasmine oil does not simply lighten our mood, it brings euphoria to darkness. Jasmine is helpful for recapturing self-confidence and defeating pessimism. Jasmine offers little choice other than optimism.
~ Susanne Fischer-Rizzi, Complete Aromatherapy Handbook

“The nights are white nights for the moon shines with dazzling splendor, or in the absence of that goddess, the soft darkness creeps down laden with innumerable scents. The heavy fragrance of magnolias mingled with the delicate sweetness of jasmine and wild roses.”
~ Zora Neale Hurston

“The fragrance could be said to open the door of emotions and penetrate the soul of a person. It brings with it a feeling of confidence. Optimism, warmth, and trust.”
~ Julia Lawless, Aromatherapy and the Mind
