THE TRUE, LUMINOUS LILAC PERFUME
Living Libations Lilac Lady Petal Perfume is a full-bloom perfume steeped in the gossamer grace of Lilac’s hypnotic, spring aroma. For centuries, the elusive Lilac fragrance has been the holy grail of natural perfumery, a floral fragrance so ephemeral it could only be captured by enfleurage. Historically, perfumers had to collect Lilac blossoms warmed in the morning sun and swiftly send them to still-rooms to saturate the petals in tallow over several weeks, creating a thick pomade that was then washed with alcohol. In our modern times, lilac fragrance is a manufactured monomolecule mimic; where standard "lilac" scents are synthetic chimeras engineered from aromachemicals of cinnamic alcohol, terpineol, and lilial.
The leading Lady of this perfume is our rare total extraction, the first authentic Lilac extraction that captures the genuine genetic and aromatic signature directly from the blossoms, offering the purest essence of Lilac in all its ethereal glory. This specialized supercritical carbon dioxide extraction is a pure, low-temperature method that coaxes out Lilac’s dense floral waxes along with its essential volatile aromatic compounds. Inside the flower's amethyst blossoms reside heavy lipids and a thick epicuticular wax layer, beautifully evolved to shield the early spring bloom from harsh frost and moisture loss.
By fusing this sublime floral fragrance with a spring symphony of supporting scents, a luxuriant Lilac bouquet is born: lovely Lavender serenes its song, while an indolic Jasmine and Ylang’s floral breeze lift Lilac notes out of their waxy cocoon, aromatically accented by Chamomile’s honeyed-green, apple-like nuance, as ripened, tart notes of Blackcurrant buds bring a bright levity, amplifying Lilac's soft nectarous symphony into a subtly spellbinding experience. This orchestration has a long-lasting tenacity imbued by Sandalwood’s sensual, slow-motion velocity, making this perfume a languid, lingering love song to grace the aura. This fulsome fragrance is pure innocence: an ethereal watercolor of sublime, spring-green notes cushioned in a creamy, earthy, yet etheric sandalwood heartwood dream, where soft, powdery Lilac notes are nestled into a floral-honeyed foundation that lingers close to the body with a soft, sublime sillage that blooms beautifully throughout the day.

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS + APPLICATION
Application: For a full day of spring scent, spritz on chest, neck, hair, or pulse points. Spritz to serenade the spirit with this springtime scent of innocence and elegance.
“The stalks of the lilacs bore their thistle-like tufts of bloom, plumes of a pale and broken purple, which had surrendered to the sun the secret of their fragrance, and let it stream abroad in clouds of perfume.” — Marcel Proust, Pleasures and Days
“In the dooryard fronting an old farm-house near the white-wash'd palings, stands the lilac-bush tall-growing with heart-shaped leaves of rich green, with many a pointed blossom rising delicate, with the perfume strong I love.” — Walt Whitman
Lilac Blossoms — Syringa vulgaris
The spring-fresh scent of lady Lilac has never before been bottled to such perfection. Elusive and shy, like a dancing butterfly, our Lilac Lady Perfume can only be coaxed by the most sophisticated extraction methods. This supercritical CO2 total extraction presses past the standardized and synthesized, capturing lilac’s natural floral waxes and volatile aromatic molecules to offer the purest essence of lilac in all its ethereal glory.
Jasmine Grandiflorum — Jasminum grandiflorum
As a liquid burst of joy, Jasmine Grandiflorum is distilled from the dewy-dawn petals of Poet’s Jasmine. This ancient amorous essence is an inspiring, indolic aromatic; its juicy natural indoles and euphoric esters bolster bliss, elevate the heart, and increase the charismatic sillage of the person anointed with the juice of Jasmine’s petals.
Sandalwood — Santalum album
If languid was a liquid prayer, it would be the slow, sensuous substance of Sandalwood’s elixir, an essence distilled from the fragrant heartwood of trees that mature for thirty years. Brimming with alpha-santalol and beta-santalol, this heavy-weight base note acts as the master fixative of the perfume's architecture. It initiates a pheromonal alchemy that harmonizes with your unique body chemistry, anchoring the flighty floral top notes into a redolent emanation.
Ylang Ylang — Cananga odorata
While the world sleeps, the "Flower of Flowers" exudes its exotic fragrance across tropical breezes. Ylang blossoms are steam-distilled, producing an exquisitely cheerful, euphoric fragrance that acts as a benevolent aromatic balancer. This essence fills the air with a sweet-ester elixir of geranyl acetate, paired with the deep, grounding sesquiterpenes of germacrene D and beta-caryophyllene that expands and amplifies the Lilac's natural sweetness.
Chamomile — Matricaria chamomilla
Chamomile’s scent is a caress of ethereal, mildly herbaceous-hay reminiscent of a ripe apple dancing upon a summer breeze, steam-distilled from the delicate petals of French chamomile flowers. Rich in calming aromatic compounds, its gentle olfactory grace was revered by the Ancient Egyptians, the Moors, and the Saxons as a sacred aromatic elixir worthy of the angels, bringing a serene, honeyed-green nuance to the perfume.
Lavender — Lavandula angustifolia
Lavender’s legacy is a path to peace of mind and sensory serenity. Tracing its origins to the Latin lavare, meaning "to wash," Lavender’s lullaby has been a perfume of purification for centuries. Its olfactory tranquility stems from the balanced symmetry of linalool and linalyl acetate, supported by soothing sesquiterpenes. This subtle floral breeze brightens the heart of the perfume to bring Lilac notes out of their waxy cocoon.
Blackcurrant Buds — Ribes nigrum
The ripened fruitiness and tangy delicate undertones of this rare distillation alight the Lilac, bridging the soul of Lavender and Chamomile’s exhalations directly into the heart of this perfume. Brimming with tart aromatic monoterpenes, like delta-3-carene, sabinene, and alpha-pinene, Blackcurrant adds a nuanced, green-fruity depth that clarifies and electrifies the floral accord.
