THE SANCTIFIED SANDALWOOD DEODORANT

Sanctify underarms with the single-ingredient sensation of Sandalwood Poetic Pits, the pure, foundational quintessence that inspired our entire Poetic Pits legacy. This singular formulation is simply 100% pure, undiluted Sandalwood, offering a scent sanctuary that consecrates the axilla with an essence esteemed since antiquity as a substantive sacred scent and skin-soothing beauty unction. This underarm elixir continues Sandalwood’s loyal lineage to purify, perfume, and protect the armpit biome with an enduring, alluring aura of sublime sovereign composure.

Rather than an antiperspirant that stifles the body’s natural respiration, Sandalwood Poetic Pits works in harmony with your biology to metamorphose perspiration into a personalized, pheromonal poem that melds with your biome. Sandalwood is a special substance rich in alpha-santalol, beta-santalol, and natural phyto-androgens, compounds molecularly similar to the primary signaling molecules naturally exuded in the axilla, to caress calm into underarms and alchemize sweat into a captivating, personal signature scent. So you can sweat the small stuff without worry, knowing every drop is sublimated into pure botanical poetry. By anointing pits, pulse points, and hair, you exude a seamless, slow-release veil of soft, honeyed heartwood that lingers from morning to night.

"I was blown away with Sandalwood Poetic Pits. I tried this randomly because I have smelled the Sandalwood BSE and liked the scent. I used regular deodorant before and they make my pits dark. I also wanted to switch to all natural deodorant. I LOVE the scent and it's so funny because I feel like my armpits are now the sexiest part of my body. I get a whiff every now and then of sandalwood and it's giving me this subtle fragrance like it's part of me. I'm female and this scent makes me feel sexy, sensual and aromatic." — JJ

"I asked the living libations wizards, and they suggested trying the sandalwood poetic pits, together with the sandalwood best skin ever. I did, and it’s amazing! My rash disappeared, the scent of both products together is subtle but wonderful, and now I can sweat while I play my double bass! my favorite fragrance of all times. The wonderful thing about this is that my own body odor combines with the sandalwood, so I don't smell like perfume, but like a mix of me and sandalwood. If you are sensitive to deodorants, you really have to try this mix of products, it’s magic! Thank you Living Libations for making such wonderful, all natural products." — Cyn

WHAT ARE POETIC PITS

Simply put: it is a deodorant. Yet, it is unlike any other "deodorant" you have ever encountered. Poetic Pits are a complete reformulation of axillary care and confidence: perfect poetic pit-potions distilled into a single, potent swipe. With a three-decade legacy, these time-tested formulations are the legendary "Pied Pipers" of the gym and the yoga studio; they are famous for eliciting the frequent, bewildered question from strangers: "How do you still smell so good?" Far from chemically cloaking, these 100% concentrated formulations merrily mix with your natural pheromones to emit an "awesome emanation" of your signature scent. Living Libations recalibrated the concept of "deodorant" by creating an organic, bacteriostatic odorant, a synergy between your skin and the botanical realm that unveils the unique fingerprint of your natural fragrance. Pure: undiluted and free of fillers, a single application provides a day-long fragrant trail that transcends the underarm. These botanical ballads are versatile enough to anoint the nape of the neck, pulse points, or hair, ensuring a charismatic aura from dawn to dusk.

By applying the reality of roots and the purity of petals to this micro-climate, your skin is free to perspire while you emit an aroma that inspires. Our Poetic Pits are pure, undiluted potency, entirely free of fillers, alcohol, and synthetic residues. Each blend is anchored in a foundation of pure, phyto-androgen-rich Sandalwood. This viscous, substantive essence acts as a botanical fixative, providing a resilient, slow-release base that ensures the song of your scent maintains its integrity through hiking in humidity, a hot flash, or a high-stakes day.

APPLICATION

The Swipe: Swipe once to charm each underarm.
The Anointing: These pure distillations also delight as a personal perfume: dab on the nape of the neck, pulse points, or run through the ends of hair for a long-lasting, layered scent.
Safety Guidance: Poetic Pits are 100% concentrated essential oils; avoid application to inflamed or allergic skin. While these ingredients are selected from botanicals recognized as safe, every microbiome is a unique microscopic universe. We advise a simple patch test inside the elbow before full armpit integration.
Sensitivity: For particularly sensitive skin, you may dilute your Poetic Pits with Jojoba, or explore our gentler Underarm Charm crème deodorants for a buffered, silken botanical experience in a nourishing lipid and mineral-powder delivery. Both pathways ensure that your underarms charm with the chemistry of their own natural alchemy.
Travel: Taking your underarm charm on the go? Wrap your glass vessel in our soft-touch Poetic Pits Silicone Sleeve Shield. It provides a soft-touch, high-grip layer that cushions 5ml and 10ml roll-ons against travel tumbles in your pocket, purse, or Puffer Pouch.
Cologne + Perfume Pairings: As a pure, single-note essence, Sandalwood Poetic Pits serves as the ultimate aromatic anchor. Layer this Poetic Pit seamlessly with any of our botanical compositions—it acts as an exquisite base note for Trees Please, Sacred Sage, Ever Moss, Vanilla Velvet, Radiant Earth, or Secret Land of Is Colognes, or wear it beneath Night Flight to Venus and Moccasin Flower Petal Perfumes to deepen, anchor, and extend their lingering aura.

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS: THE COMPLETE COMPOSITION

Sandalwood — 100% Santalum album
The Canonical Consecrate: If languid was a liquid prayer, it would be the slow, sensuous substance of Sandalwood’s elixir, an essence distilled from the fragrant heartwood of trees that mature for thirty years. Brimming with alpha-santalol and beta-santalol, this essence is fundamental to the Poetic Pit architecture; it initiates a pheromonal alchemy that harmonizes with your unique chemistry. Sandalwood has a unique phyto-physiological affinity for the axilla; it contains phyto-androgens, substances molecularly similar to the primary signaling compounds we naturally exude. A single swipe transforms your perspiration into an elegant emanation, supporting the vitality of the very tissue it touches.

What does Sandalwood Poetic Pits smell like?
Sandalwood Poetic Pits is a single-note sanctuary of warm, soft, honeyed heartwood, offering a pure, smooth, and woodsy aroma that feels grounding, intimate, and velvety on the skin.

Why is pure Sandalwood used as the foundation for the entire Poetic Pits line?
Sandalwood possesses a rare phyto-physiological affinity for the micro-climate of the axilla. Brimming with alpha-santalol, beta-santalol, and naturally occurring phyto-androgens (compounds molecularly similar to human signaling molecules), it gently balances skin flora while fusing with your body heat. Rather than masking perspiration, Sandalwood acts as a natural fixative that alchemizes sweat into a personalized, pheromonal emanation.

How do I layer Sandalwood Poetic Pits with my favorite perfumes or colognes?
Because this formula consists of 100% pure Santalum album, it functions as a universal base layer and natural scent fixative. Apply a single swipe to clean underarms, pulse points, or hair as your daily deodorant, then apply your chosen Living Libations Petal Perfume or Cologne overtop. The Sandalwood will anchor lighter top notes, deepening the overall scent profile and extending its wear throughout the day.
