After the monsoon rains have drained the heavens over the Himalayas, Rose petals are plucked to distill into the ancient art of creating Rose Attar. Our Rose Attar Essential Oil is co-distilled from Damascus Rose blossoms along with sublime Sandalwood. Rose Attar is an extraordinary union of the sublime sensuality of Sandalwood and the resplendent regal-ness of Rose.
This dynamic duo is an extraordinary sensual serum, an effective underarm charm, a soother of dry skin, a smoother of fine lines and acne, a perfectly passionate perfume, and a facilitator of forgiveness. An emotional and physical harmonizer, Rose Attar's aroma comforts in times of mourning and brings balance to emotions that seem unbearable. Calming, cooling properties are known to alleviate tension, lighten the weight of heavy thoughts, and invite an overall essence of purity and sensuality.
Rose Attar is a rare essence that will wrap you in gentle, luxury of the earth's botanical bounty.
"It was June and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside."
~ Maud Hart Lovelace
"Rose petals floated atop rose water in canals in the Shalimar Gardens for the wedding of Shah Jahan and his bride, in whose honor the shah later built the Taj Mahal. Legend has it that when his wife noticed the rose oil particles surfacing on the water, she ordered them collected for her perfume."
~ Roberta Wilson, Aromatherapy: Essential Oils for Vibrant Health and Beauty
