From Native Americans to ancient Greeks, Spearmint was chosen to soothe skin, scent bathwater, and freshen breath. Our fresh, fragrant Spearmint Essential Oil inspires the senses with waves of minty magnificence! Since it has lower levels of menthol than Peppermint, it is a gentler choice for use with children.
Refreshing Spearmint relaxes body and mind. It is said to release that butterflies in the stomach feeling. It has also been traditionally used as a breathing balm, breath freshener, and deodorizer. Weary arms, legs, and feet sing with revived glee after a massage with merry Spearmint Essential Oil in the blend.
"Spearmint essential oil can be used in place of peppermint essential oil; it has a milder fragrance and similar effects. When used in aromatherapy or for meditation, spearmint essential oil promotes relaxation and relieves feelings of stress and nervous tension. It also aids in promoting an overall sense of balance and well-being."

"Oils from small European distilleries are closer to the expression of the plant [than industrial aroma-trades].
Prices for such oils are distinctly higher but reflect the reality of genuine and authentic production practices."
