Velvety soft as the verdant Willamette Valley from which it hails, Living Libations Peppermint Willamette Essential Oil is the softest and smoothest smelling peppermint across the lands. Peppermint is amazing first aid as it packs an icy, peppy-punch, yet this special mint gives all the pep ensorcelled in a peppermint-puff of softness.

Botanical Name: Mentha piperita
Botanical Family: Lamiaceae
Extraction Method: Steam distilled
Part of Plant Distilled: Leaves
Country of Origin: Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Cultivation Method: Organic
Composition: 100% Mentha piperita
Consistency: Thin viscosity
Scent Description: Silky soft and green with minty intensity.

Uses: A drop on the tongue for instantly fresh breath. Its softer nature, may make it more enjoyable for young palates. A zippy addition to culinary creations and teas. Add a drop to honey for knotted tummies. Dilute to use in jojoba or a Best Skin Ever to cool redness. Super duper in a salt pipe. Crystal clear in diffusers. Feels good on temples and foreheads that have thought too much. Acts nice like portable ice: apply neat to skin that is in need of some cool TLC. Apply to base of neck to dispel neck tension, or add drops to a spritz to calm and cool flashes of heat.
Contraindication: Due to its cooling properties, do not use undiluted on children under five years old as it can bring down body temperature. Okay to use a small amount (1-2%) diluted.

Peppermint Willamette Essential Oil is the same species, Mentha piperita, as our classic Peppermint Essential Oil with a greener aroma and a more tender touch. The high altitude of the Willamette Valley in Oregon as well as mild, wet winters provide the unique terroir to our soft, lush Peppermint. It still feels as nice as ice yet with a little less intensity.

It is most pleasant to place a drop straight in the mouth or on a toothbrush to sweeten the breath, and a drop in honey or a glass of water can calm grumbly tummies. Due to its softer nature, Peppermint Willamette may be the more enjoyable option for those seeking a softer mint.
