The skin-loving oasis of Omumbiri Essential Oil is distilled from sap of wild Myrrh. This exudate hails from the gritty desert lands of Namibia in sun-drenched southwest Africa, Commiphora wildii grows short and shrubby with reddish purple branches that in summer’s heat leak droplets of aromatic amberous resin. Venerated for millennia by the Namibian people, this multitalented myrrh resin was traditionally made into a balm with fat and ochre and then anointed on the skin for its scent and skin-satiating properties.

Utterly unique in aroma, this wild Myrrh has a warm, lemon-balsam scent and exudes skin-soothing sesquiterpenes that hydrate, soften, tone, and cleanse.
